There are many small streams running into Lake Erie along Pennsylvania's  shoreline. The largest 3 being Elk,Walnut and 20 Mile creeks. They are host to the largest runs of steelhead anywhere on the great lakes, mostly thanks to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and their aggressive stocking program. In addition to fishing the streams, steelhead can be caught along the Lake Erie shoreline and in Presque Isle Bay. There is almost always somewhere to fish in Erie no matter what the conditions.
